“Is it possible to have everything in one county? Well yes and that’s Gwynedd. From its countless beaches to its highest peaks, from its villages, its farms – to its castles – there’s everything for everyone. I was born, raised and educated here until I graduated and sometimes it’s easy to take this special place for granted. The cradle of the Welsh language. Home to myths and legends – from giants to kings with horse ears! Yet, with no doubt it’s our people that is the heart and soul of this ancient land, people who are very proud of their language and Welshness – I’m so pleased that such an important resource has been developed to tell our story.”
Aled Hughes, Presenter and author
